Who is Dickie Arbiter
Dickie Arbiter began his broadcasting career in Zimbabwe (Southern Rhodesia) in the mid-1960s.
After returning to the United Kingdom in the early 1970s, he joined LBC News Radio/IRN (Independent Radio News) as a newscaster and programme presenter.
During the late Queen’s 1977 Silver Jubilee, he was asked to report on the British royal family.
In 1981, he was responsible for organising the UK’s commercial radio coverage and taking on as lead commentator of the wedding of Prince Charles to Lady Diana Spencer.

Royal Journalist & Commentator

With a vast working knowledge of the British Royal family, Dickie's Royal Commentary has a truly international reach in print.
You can find Dickie's work on radio and television networks, podcasts, X, Instagram and Linkedin.
Public Speaker
Dickie’s talks cover a variety of subjects and issues, which means he is in demand whether it is in the UK, USA or aboard cruise ships.
Dickie always feels at home talking to an audience irrespective of size, whether to fifty or a hundred ladies at a sit-down lunch or to several hundred in a cruise ship theatre.
He talks to and not at his audiences and delights in engaging with them. Interaction is important to him, as is the ‘Question and Answer’ session he encourages after his talks.

Dickie & Vickie's Royal Report

More recently Dickie, co-hosting with his daughter Victoria, established a YouTube podcast channel.
Dickie and Vickie’s Royal Report is a pacey roundup of all things Royal on and, along the way, manages a bit of myth-busting.
